Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking reliable event drivers/hosts in the Boston area to support on-site catering and client events. This gig-based role covers setup, transport, and guest interaction, with a focus on obsessive hospitality and flawless execution.

Shifts run Mon-Fri, often 8am-2pm, with pay around $24/hour. Drivers must have a valid license/insurance, own vehicle, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 18+ and authorized to work in the US.

The Gig:

• Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday preferred (8am-2pm)
• Pay: gig-based, equivalent to approximately $24/hr
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)
  • Pick up equipment at hub in Newton, pick up food from vendor, transport to client sites throughout Boston area and complete designated set up or drop off.
  • Host catering events for our business clients throughout the Boston area
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
• Ability to choose when and how much you work.

• Reliable transportation (use personal vehicle)
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
