Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living is currently seeking a flex (on-call) Catering Server to provide exceptional service at on-site catering and banquet events in Bethesda, MD. Flexible shifts and no late nights are offered, with compensation of $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.

• Must be 18 years old and able to meet state alcohol-service requirements.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to work in a fast-paced on-site catering environment.

• Develop expertise on menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods.
• Engage residents and guests with menu highlights and tailored recommendations.
• Record orders accurately and deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Location: The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a flex (on-call) Catering Server. In this role you will provide exceptional service to our residents and employees during on-site catering and banquet events. Flexible shifts including short shifts, weekends, and no late nights! Compensation: commensurate with experience $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.

How you will make an impact

• Develop expertise in menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods to become a subject matter expert
• Enhance resident and guest engagement by sharing daily menu highlights and suggesting recommendations that are tailored to their preferences
• Record food and beverage orders with precision and accuracy
• Deliver an exceptional dining experience consistently

What you will need

• Meet the state’s age requirement for serving alcohol
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Good communication skills
