Job summary

City Barbeque is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to lead direct sales, weddings, and business development while coordinating all catering events and operations for a new market.

The role includes a base salary with a 3.5% commission on all food/beverage and a total package around 60–65k+. Reports to the Regional Catering Sales Director and requires strong sales and leadership capabilities to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of Catering/Events management or similar experience.
• Solid knowledge of local area and strong sales/negotiation/closing skills.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Sales, Wedding & business development: create a targeted plan to increase Regional Catering Sales with weddings and corporate events.
• Manage ordering logistics, CRM updates, and client communications to ensure clear event details.
• Coordinate catering operations for market events and ensure on-time execution.
• Lead and develop an operations team; oversee staffing, training, and performance.
• Represent the company at bridal shows and industry events; upsell and build referrals.
• Collaborate with restaurant and joint management teams to meet sales and service goals.
