Job summary

Aramark’s Catering Sales Manager for Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ coordinates food and beverage arrangements for game days and special events.

You will partner with culinary, catering and other teams to support event execution, client satisfaction, and revenue growth, while managing bookings, contracts, and client communications. This role requires 5+ years in banquet/catering sales and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years previous experience in Banquet/Catering Sales or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, hospitality or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Greets and services all events to ensure client satisfaction.
• Follows up with clients via phone, email, and site tours to secure contracts.
• Generates contracts, updates client files, secures payments and creates banquet event orders.
• Partner with culinary and catering teams to create customized menus.
• Monitors event execution to ensure timelines are met and operations run smoothly.
• Attends and facilitates daily/weekly departmental meetings.
