Qualifications

• Prior catering experience required; high-end catering experience including weddings preferred.
• Experience interacting with customers and resolving complaints.
• Basic accounting and record-keeping skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to act as a liaison.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and resolve complaints, relaying relevant comments to supervisors.
• Represent the company courteously and efficiently in all customer and employee interactions to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist the Controller with reports and weekly closing procedures.
• Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files.
• Summarize details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfer data to the general ledger, reconciling and balancing accounts.
• Compile records to produce statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other pertinent operations.
• Calculate employee wages from time cards and submit payroll registers.
• Prepare tax reports and monthly statements to customers.
• Complete records to or through trial balances.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Plan and execute high‑end catering events, including weddings, acting as the main liaison between clients and event staff.
• Capture guest needs and assist in planning and execution of events.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
