Levy Restaurants, Inc. in Columbus, GA is hiring a Catering Sales Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and sales support to the Catering Sales team, ensuring the successful planning and execution of catered events.

This role serves as a liaison between clients, sales managers, and operational departments, helping coordinate event details, maintain accurate documentation, and support revenue-generating activities while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• 1–2 years of admin, hospitality, event, catering, or sales support experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with catering or event management preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support the Senior Sales Manager throughout the event sales process.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and client correspondence.
• Maintain accurate client, event, and booking records in designated sales systems.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and tracking sales activity.
• Coordinate distribution of event paperwork to operational departments.
• Schedule and coordinate site visits, planning meetings, and client appointments.
• Ensure timely responses to client inquiries and requests.
• Confirm event details, timelines, room setups, menus, and special requests.
• Communicate event updates and changes to internal teams.
• Assist with event-day support as needed to ensure client expectations are met.
• Maintain event calendars
• Support post-event billing and client follow-up processes.
• Maintain organized filing systems, contracts, and event records.
• Track deposits, signed contracts, and required client documentation.

Catering Sales Coordinator

The Catering Sales Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and sales support to the Catering Sales team to ensure the successful planning and execution of catered events. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with catering or event management preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to navigate event and convention spaces during event operations.
