Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Catering Sales Admin in Waco, TX to provide clerical and administrative support for food service programs. The role requires prior admin/catering experience and excellent customer service, with duties spanning phones, staffing support, records, and vendor bill processing.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with varying shifts; online applications accepted. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have previous admin/catering experience.
• Must have excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
• Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents.
• Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, school personnel, administrators, student parents and Supervisor.
• Maintain records of students eligible for free and reduced priced lunches if applicable.
• Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer.
• Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
• Process vendor invoices and verify prices against bid specifications.
• Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
• Assist in end-of-month financial reports.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment; perform job safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
