Job summary

LowCountry Catering, a well-established off-premise caterer, seeks experienced catering and private event sales professionals.

Candidates will manage client relationships from inquiry to execution, coordinate event logistics, and work a hybrid schedule in Smyrna, GA. Expect a base salary plus aggressive commissions, travel as needed, and group health benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years in full-service, off-premise catering sales (or closely related event sales/logistics).
  • Proven experience managing client relationships from inquiry through execution.
  • Strong references within the hospitality or events industry.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • A highly functional home office setup with dependable internet connection.
  • Ability to pass a background, MVR, and credit check.
  • Culinary or hospitality degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with private event clients from initial inquiry to event execution.
  • Coordinate logistics, decor, rentals, and venues for private events.
  • Maintain strong client communication, responsiveness, and follow-up discipline.
  • Travel as needed for out-of-town client events and site visits.
  • Follow pricing, margins, and payment processes with attention to detail.

What You Need to Bring

  • Strong communication and client-facing confidence, a naturally good listener, consultative selling mindset, excellent responsiveness and follow up discipline, the ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.
  • Transferable client base, primed to follow you to a new company.
  • Experience with private event decor needs, rental equipment acquisition, logistics planning, interactions with private and public event venues.
  • First hand knowledge of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area private event marketplace and culture, general understanding of the Southeastern US event markets and their business potential.
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail, high degree of business acumen & strong financial awareness (pricing, margins, payment processes)
  • Genuine interest in and passion for food, hospitality, and private events, a warm and energetic person who others want to work with.

Work Setting & Schedule

  • Hybrid work schedule, split between remote and office, frequent in town site visits and meetings.
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings as the event booking schedule requires.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for qualified out of town client events.
