Farmers Restaurant Group is seeking a Catering Prep Cook to join our Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events team. We are looking for a candidate who exemplifies a passion for scratch cooking and catering and events and wants to be part of growing an evolving brand.

In this role, the Catering Prep Cook will partner with our Catering Chef and report directly to the Managing Partner of Catering. Starting $17/hr. The role supports our catering efforts across the Greater Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen or catering is preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and food.
• Ability to read and follow recipes to standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items following standard recipes within a specified time.
• Read prep list and prep items as assigned.
• Measure and assemble ingredients to follow recipes.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and storage spaces.
• Move food in and out of ovens and manage temperature and quality checks.
