Air Culinaire Worldwide in White Plains, NY is seeking a Prep Cook for the AM shift. This full-time role involves preparing foods to ACW standards, handling hot and cold prep, and supporting the culinary team to deliver quality catering orders.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, culinary experience, ServSafe certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Weekend availability may be required; benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels or catering, or its equivalent required, with experience in new culinary trends preferred.
• Current ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45-days of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to take orders and follow through as well as direct and work well with others in a team-driven, fast-paced environment is essential.
• Must be energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation.
• Prior catering and hospitality/food culinary, cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to Air Culinaire preparation methods and ACW standards.
• Prioritize food production orders, ensure quality assurance, and verify correct packaging and temps.
• Work with the Culinary Team per system specifications and ACES to fulfill client orders.
• Maintain sanitation and safety practices in a fast-paced kitchen.
