Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is hiring a Catering Packer in Washington, DC. You will join a team that carefully pack and prepare catering orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and on-time readiness to delight customers.

Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Preference for prior catering or GMP familiarity, plus bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check that all items prepared by the savory team meet quality and packaging specifications and are clean and free of drips or smudges.
• Package all items according to established packaging, labeling, and cutlery specifications.
• Consolidate all items within each order to ensure they are complete and ready for delivery or pickup.
• Maintain a clean, organized packing station free of food debris and clutter.
• Restock packaging materials and supplies as needed.
• Maintain professional and collaborative working relationships with all Tatte team members.
• Perform all duties safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
