Job summary

Air Culinaire Worldwide is seeking an Operations Manager in Carlstadt, NJ. This full-time role reports to the General Manager and directs the operations team to ensure outstanding guest experiences and profitable performance across kitchens and catering services.

The position requires 3–5 years in high-end food services, a business/culinary degree, and strong leadership. Travel and FAA clearance may be involved, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business and culinary arts or equivalent executive chef/hospitality management experience required.
• Experience managing staff and client relationships in a hospitality environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
• 3–5 years’ experience in high-end food services is required.
• A background in aviation or hospitality services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily operations under the General Manager’s guidance.
• Train and develop operational staff and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Oversee payroll, scheduling, and performance reviews with a focus on profitability.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are maintained across all kitchens and services.
• Support sales and marketing efforts and maintain client relationships.
