Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with two years in food service/catering and proven client satisfaction.
• ServSafe certification or within one year of employment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Supervisory experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with a diverse client base.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Computer literacy in standard software.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, coordination and management of university-wide catered functions.
• Trains, schedules, supervises and evaluates staff for cost-effective service.
• Ensures sanitation, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Plans events, meets clients, develops menus, pricing and contracts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
