Compass Group USA (Levy) is seeking a Catering Operations Lead to manage events from BEO through completion in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate event staff, prepare menus, and ensure service standards across multiple venues.

This hourly role requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret BEOs and handle event logistics in a dynamic setting. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Catering, hospitality, or event operations experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret BEOs and manage event logistics.
• Detail-oriented with experience handling event documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event-related systems.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute catering events according to BEOs.
• Schedule and direct event staff.
• Prepare menus and event materials.
• Communicate event details and expectations to staff.
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure service standards, documentation, and operational procedures are followed.
• Monitor event operations and adjust staffing as needed.
• Partner with the Catering Sales Manager and other departments to ensure successful events.
