Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Coordinator to supervise planning and execution of catering events at central and satellite locations, ensuring brand standards are consistently achieved.

The role includes booking events, pricing menus, coordinating with internal departments and vendors, and upholding sanitation and safety throughout operations. Physical requirements may apply, and the team will work to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting.
• Prior experience with booking of events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise catering operations including staff coordination, setup, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
• Book events, select and cost menu items, and price as needed.
• Assist with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate activities with other internal departments; participate in management team meetings; interface with vendors and client contacts.
• Represent Aramark and the client at meetings and events.
• Ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards with checklists and hands-on supervision.
• Participate in catering training programs and help develop training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
• Aid in implementation and adherence to Aramark OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines.
