Job summary

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP is seeking a Catering Operations Lead to manage the Firm’s catering and food service for meetings, client events, and functions. You will coordinate orders with approved vendors, ensure quality and timely delivery, and lead a team to support all hospitality needs.

The role requires at least two years of catering experience in a professional setting, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and willingness to work overtime to support on-site events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years catering experience in a professional food service environment.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and to work overtime or outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Firm's catering and food service program, ensuring quality, presentation, and service.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage catering requests for meetings, client events, and Firm functions.
• Coordinate food and beverage orders with approved vendors and platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with catering vendors and monitor performance for cost-effective improvements.
• Oversee preparation, presentation, and delivery of catering services to meet hospitality standards.
