Job summary

Mendocino Farms is seeking a Manager of Off-Premise Catering & Ops to lead catering and field operations from Base Camp Home Office in Plano. You will drive execution standards, SOPs, and scalable processes across multi-location operations to ensure consistent, craveable catering experiences.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Culinary, Finance, Marketing, Training, Guest Relations, and Field Operations, with up to 10% travel and a focus on reducing friction while enabling scalable growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations experience with catering or off-premise ownership.
• Deep understanding of restaurant execution and operational realities.
• Strong process design, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence field teams without direct authority.
• Experience working with third-party delivery platforms.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time including local and out-of-state travel.

Responsibilities

• Support catering and off-premise execution standards across all locations, ensuring quality, accuracy, timeliness, and brand consistency
• Manage Catering SOPs, including packaging standards, prep workflows, staging, dispatch, and handoff protocols
• Collaborate with Culinary, Finance, and Marketing on menu innovation execution
• Support the execution process and rollout for launching hot catering, ensuring food travels and presents well
• Build and maintain a scalable playbook for multi-channel fulfillment (in-store pickup, delivery, DSPs, courier)
• Partner with Field Leadership to implement scalable systems for order management and delivery execution
• Identify high-impact operational improvements to unlock scale and reduce friction
• Serve as the SME for catering/off-premise tools, workflows, and platforms
• Collaborate with Technology on testing, rollout, and adoption of new tools and integrations
• Monitor delivery maps and DSP performance to maintain service standards
• Support driver issue management and vendor relationships
• Evaluate potential marketplaces or partners for operations needs
• Refine processes based on performance data and field insights
