Job summary

Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the Impact Catering team in Oklahoma City. You will oversee all event aspects, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safety and service standards.

A strong background in hospitality or catering and a valid liquor license are preferred. The role requires availability for nights and weekends, with potential for additional responsibilities in inventory, training, and project work.

Qualifications

• Requires management or supervisory experience.
• High school diploma preferred; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, or fine dining is required.
• Valid liquor license/ABlE permit and ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of an event from setup to teardown.
• Assist in banquet setup to company standards.
• Supervise catering staff in absence of director.
• Serve alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and policies.
• Check guest IDs for alcohol service and cut off intoxicated guests.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Ensure equipment is operable and clean before events.
• Supervise inventories and assist with office tasks.
