Sodexo is seeking a Catering Director for The University of Alabama Birmingham, an urban college campus that cares about its students, faculty, and the community, located in Birmingham, Alabama. Reporting directly to the Resident District Manager, the Catering Director will oversee all catering activities on campus, including daily catering, high-volume events, and VIP dinners. The role focuses on growth, client relationship building, and overseeing events from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate all catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and quick responsiveness to client requests
• Identify customer needs and expectations
• Coordinate catering activities, use of BEOs, delegate tasks
• Develop rapport with clients and promote partnerships
• Promote a customer-centered culture that exceeds expectations
• Maintain and improve service levels for increased satisfaction
• Align Sodexo and customer goals and ensure they are met
