We are hiring immediately for a CATERING MANAGER position.

Job Summary

As a Catering Manager, you will manage the Catering Department, including training new staff, overseeing event setup, and directing temporary personnel. You will ensure proper service during events, including setup, cleaning, and breakdown procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Supervise all catering events.
  2. Manage catering operations, including logistics, quality, sanitation, and facility activities.
  3. Collaborate with the Chef on menu creation.
  4. Train catering staff in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
  5. Monitor labor and food costs for each event.
  6. Maintain excellent client relationships through effective communication.
  7. Assist with all foodservice-related activities.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year in management.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related food services.
  • Catering experience required.
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
  • Financial, budgetary, and computational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet use.
  • ServSafe Certification.
