Job summary

GLOBAL GAMING SOLUTIONS LLC in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a seasonal cook to accurately and efficiently prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and other hot dishes in a fast-paced restaurant/sports bar environment.

You will follow portion sizes, maintain a clean work station, garnish plates, stock line stations, and assist in off-peak prep. Two-year food service experience and Serve Safe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year related experience or training.
• Basic knowledge of foods, equipment, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret menu and recipes.
• Must pass background check and regulatory licenses.
• ServeSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables for cooking.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and plating standards.
• Stock line stations for service.
• Portion and marinate ingredients as required.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and equipment.
• Plate and garnish dishes according to standards.
• Assist in off-peak food preparation as needed.
• Close kitchen following the closing checklist.
• Works in a fast-paced restaurant or sports bar environment.
