Panera is hiring a Catering Lead in Allen Park, MI. You will plan and manage catering orders for events, ensuring delicious, familiar Panera dishes are delivered promptly and accurately.

You’ll respond to inquiries, coordinate with guests and teams, and help create memorable guest experiences with warm, friendly service. The role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with strong organizational skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Food safety understanding and training (Food Handler's Card) required by law.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Self-starter who can meet goals with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Must have your own vehicle with acceptable driving record and be able to deliver orders.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 25–50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 3 hours, with clear communication in loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Create memorable experiences with warm, friendly service and proactive follow-ups.
• Assist with delivering orders to guests' events.
• Strictly adhere to health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera's standards for craveable food quality.
• Promote Panera Catering to local businesses, schools and events.
• Support Managers and Team Members as needed.
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth and trust.
