Job summary

Panera Bread in Orland Park, IL is seeking a Catering Lead to coordinate guest catering orders, deliver memorable service, and ensure timely, accurate food for events. You’ll work with guests to plan menus, manage orders, and support the team to maintain Panera’s craveable quality.

The role offers flexible hours, weekend shifts, and opportunities for growth within Panera’s catering operations, with competitive hourly pay and tips where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Food handler’s training/card as required by law.
• Own a vehicle with a valid driving record and ability to operate a passenger vehicle safely.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects weighing 25–50 pounds.
• Capacity to stand and walk for up to 3 hours.
• Strong communication in loud environments.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and good organizational/time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Provide warm, friendly service and proactive follow-ups to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with delivering orders to events.
• Uphold health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera’s standards for craveable food quality.
• Promote Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
• Support Managers and Team Members as needed.
• Contribute to a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
