Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Catering Lead to orchestrate catering orders for events, ensuring warm, friendly service and timely follow-ups. You will coordinate order production and deliver experiences that meet Panera’s high standards.

Responsibilities include managing deliveries, maintaining health and safety standards, and promoting Panera Catering to local businesses and schools. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler’s Card as required by law.
• Own a vehicle with acceptable driving record.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Self-starter with limited supervision.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand/walk up to 3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Provide warm, friendly service with proactive follow-ups to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with delivering orders to events.
• Strictly adhere to health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera’s standards for craveable food quality.
• Market Panera Catering to local area businesses, schools and events.
• Support Managers and Team Members as needed.
• Help build Panera’s culture of warmth, belonging, growth and trust.
