Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Catering Lead to manage catering orders and deliver exceptional guest experiences at events. You’ll coordinate orders, ensure timely delivery, and uphold food safety standards while promoting Panera’s catering options to local businesses and schools.

Rely on strong communication, organization, and a proactive attitude to supervise a team and support managers in a fast-paced environment. A valid food safety credential is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice training.
• Own vehicle for delivering orders and valid driving record.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand/walk for up to 3 hours.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Create memorable experiences with warm, friendly service and proactive follow-ups.
• Assist with delivering orders to guests’ events.
• Adhere to health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera’s standards for craveable food quality.
• Build excitement and interest in Panera’s products and services.
• Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools and events.
• Assist and support Managers and Team Members as needed.
• Help build a Culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
