Catering Lead – Your role supports Panera’s catering operations by helping guests plan and choose meals for events, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
- Create memorable experiences with warm, friendly service, effective communication, and proactive follow‑ups to keep guests satisfied.
- Assist with delivering orders to guests’ events.
- Strictly adhere to health and food‑safety standards and maintain Panera’s quality standards for food.
- Build excitement and interest in Panera’s products and services.
- Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
- Assist and support managers and teammates as needed.
- Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Complete basic food‑safety training (Food Handler’s Card as required by law).
- Easily communicate and enjoy interacting with people.
- Self‑starter who can meet goals with limited supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Must have own vehicle with acceptable driving record for delivery duties.
- Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and fast‑paced priorities.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 25–50 pounds and stand/walk for up to 3 hours.
- Fluent in clear communication in a loud environment.
