Catering Lead – Your role supports Panera’s catering operations by helping guests plan and choose meals for events, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Create memorable experiences with warm, friendly service, effective communication, and proactive follow‑ups to keep guests satisfied.
• Assist with delivering orders to guests’ events.
• Strictly adhere to health and food‑safety standards and maintain Panera’s quality standards for food.
• Build excitement and interest in Panera’s products and services.
• Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
• Assist and support managers and teammates as needed.
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Complete basic food‑safety training (Food Handler’s Card as required by law).
• Easily communicate and enjoy interacting with people.
• Self‑starter who can meet goals with limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Must have own vehicle with acceptable driving record for delivery duties.
• Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and fast‑paced priorities.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 25–50 pounds and stand/walk for up to 3 hours.
• Fluent in clear communication in a loud environment.
