Job Overview
We are looking for a Catering Lead to manage and execute catering operations, helping guests plan events with Panera’s dishes and ensuring high‑quality food service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
- Create memorable experiences with warm, friendly service, effective communication, and proactive follow‑ups to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.
- Assist with delivering orders to guests’ events.
- Strictly adhere to health and food safety standards.
- Maintain Panera’s food quality standards.
- Build excitement and interest in Panera’s products and services.
- Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
- Assist and support managers and team members as needed.
- Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18.
- Complete basic food safety training (Food Handler’s Card as required by law).
- Enjoy working with people and have effective communication skills.
- Self‑starter who can meet goals with limited supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Own a vehicle with an acceptable driving record.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 25–50 pounds; able to stand and walk for up to 3 hours.
- Can clearly communicate and understand directions in a loud environment.
- Will embody Panera’s Guiding Values and Behaviors.
