Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a Catering Coordinator/Front of House in North Reading, MA. You will oversee catering events, assist in managing staff, and ensure exemplary client service and presentation.

The role reports to the Chef Manager or Chef, requiring 1–3 years catering experience, a high school diploma, and ServSafe/other certifications. Benefit package includes health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Specialized training in catering preferred.
• Certifications: ServSafe, Choke Safety, Allergen Awareness (MA), and TIPS Alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, execution and coordination of catering events with the Chef Manager or Chef.
• Provide oversight of catering services to ensure client satisfaction.
• Meet with prospective clients to review event requirements, menus and scheduling.
• Assist in setup/breakdown of events including seating, decor and displays.
• Supervise staff during events to ensure quality service.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and vendor relationships as needed.
