Job summary

Kona Kai San Diego Resort seeks a Director of Catering & Conference Services to lead catering sales, event servicing and booking execution, driving revenue strategies and client satisfaction. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hospitality experience in catering sales or conference services.
• Experience managing catering sales and conference services for meetings, weddings and events.
• Strong understanding of space management, forecasting, reporting and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead catering sales, event servicing, forecasting, and team performance.
• Develop catering revenue strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
• Coach and develop the catering and conference services teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure accurate bookings.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales for event execution.
• Oversee meetings, weddings, social events and other catered programs.
