Kona Kai San Diego Resort, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Director of Catering & Conference Services to lead catering and conference operations, from client conversion to event execution. You will drive revenue through strategic catering programs, maintain client relationships, and coach a high-performing team in a dynamic hospitality environment.

The role requires 5+ years of hospitality leadership in catering and conference services, strong space management and contract review

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hospitality experience in catering sales or conference services leadership.
• Experience managing catering sales, meetings, weddings, and other events.
• Strong knowledge of space management, booking, forecasting, reporting, and contract review in hotel sales systems.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships from initial sale through event execution and post-event follow-up.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Lead the resort’s catering and conference services operations from conversion to execution and client follow-up.
• Oversee catering sales, event servicing, forecasting, and team performance to meet revenue goals.
• Develop catering revenue strategies and coach catering and conference services teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure accurate booking and space management.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales to ensure successful meetings, weddings, and catered programs.
