Qualifications

• Leadership experience in hotel catering or convention services.
• Strong knowledge of catering operations, BEOs, timelines, room setups, F&B, AV, and banquet operations.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client interaction skills.
• Financial acumen and understanding of event profitability and revenue management.
• Collaborative, accountable leadership with hands-on style.
• Proficiency with hotel/event management systems and related software.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Catering & Convention Services team from turnover to farewell.
• Partner with clients to understand vision and coordinate timelines and layouts.
• Review BEOs, resumes, diagrams, timelines, guarantees to ensure a single playbook.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Sales, Finance.
• Conduct pre-convention meetings and operational briefings for right information flow.
• Monitor event execution and resolve issues before they become complaints.
• Build relationships with planners, clients, vendors and partners.
• Assist with upselling opportunities and revenue-generating strategies while prioritizing guest experience.
• Review profitability and identify opportunities to improve revenue and efficiency.
