Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks a Sales Catering Manager at the Omaha Marriott in downtown Omaha to drive revenue through corporate and social catering opportunities.

You will manage inquiries, prepare proposals, and coordinate seamless event execution with hotel teams, ensuring outstanding guest experiences and repeat business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with short notice.
• Analytical and mathematical skills for costs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ability to conduct hotel tours and travel for outside sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and develop new business opportunities through client visits, calls, networking and relationship-building to meet revenue goals.
• Serve as primary contact for corporate, social, and catering clients, respond to inquiries, conduct tours, and promote hotel facilities and events.
• Prepare and present proposals, contracts, menus, and client communications professionally and timely.
• Plan, coordinate and detail events, ensuring requirements are communicated to operations for successful execution.
• Oversee event implementation and provide on-site support with hotel departments to ensure service excellence.
