InnVentures is seeking a Catering Sales Manager for Embassy Suites Bellevue, WA to solicit new catering accounts, entertain and sustain relationships to meet revenue goals, with strong knowledge of weddings and event management.

Responsibilities include coordinating client functions, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining profitable operations while delivering high quality service; the role involves problem solving with client relationships and close collaboration with hotel teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Responsabilités

• Keep supervisor fully informed of problems or matters.
• Prepare and submit required reports timely.
• Follow up on turnovers within 24 hours by phone and 3 days in writing.
• Know meeting room setups and capabilities.
• Interact with outside planners and vendors for event setup.
• Maintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for clients.
• Manage the function diary and adjust space for revenue optimization.
• Be visible on the floor and assist staff during functions.
