Job summary

Creative Dining Services at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa is seeking a Catering Coordinator to support catering event operations. Under guidance from the Catering Manager, you will plan details with production, conference services, and sales staff, supervise event logistics, manage inventories, and assist with setup

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years minimum experience in food service or catering.
• ServSafe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all catering activities under the Catering Manager.
• Plan and coordinate details of catered events with production, conference services, and sales staff.
• Review events, determine logistical needs, and manage inventories and orders for products and equipment.
• Coordinate with catering team and support departments for food/beverage expectations, delivery, setup and breakdown.
• Ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards using checklists and supervision.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for continuous improvement of catering events.
