Job summary

Buehler’s Fresh Foods in Canton, OH is seeking a salaried Catering Manager to lead the catering department and ensure excellent customer experiences. You will work closely with the Food Service team, Store Leadership, and the Director of Catering to drive sales, profitability, and seamless events.

Responsibilities include leading the catering team, coordinating tastings and quotations, and aligning staffing with budgeted needs.

Qualifications

• Attain at least 21 years of age.
• Able to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 40 lb – and occasionally 60 lb.
• Able to work within a kitchen environment with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives.
• Follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee catering department operations to ensure exceptional customer experience.
• Lead catering team and align with Food Service and Store Leadership teams.
• Develop and deliver offerings to wow customers and drive sales and profitability.
• Coordinate events, tastings, quotations, and client meetings; manage custom orders.
