Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services seeks a Catering Attendant at UNC Greensboro to deliver and serve food at scheduled functions. You may drive a catering delivery truck and will set up, serve, and clean the event area while ensuring accurate execution of each function.

Applicants should have prior food service/catering experience and Serv Safe certification are a plus. A valid driver’s license and related permits may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• Previous Food Service/Catering experience required.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events.
• Returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.
• Maintains food temperatures and sanitary standards.
• Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
