Job summary

Davidson College’s Much Ado Catering is seeking a full-time Catering Associate for a 9-month assignment to support event prep, service, and post-event cleanup across campus venues.

You will assist with setup, transport of supplies, guest service, and collaboration with dining staff, while upholding safety and department policies in a fast-paced environment. Night and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces including tables, linens, buffets and serving stations.
• Transport food and equipment and ensure proper setup and breakdown.
• Serve food and beverages politely and replenish stations as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries.
• Collaborate with catering staff and kitchen to achieve goals.
• Uphold department policies, safety standards, and trainings.
