The Press Club Grill’s Alpaca Chicken is seeking a Catering Driver in Knightdale, NC. As a veteran, minority, and family-owned restaurant since 2007, we emphasize quality, respect, and gratitude in every plate we serve, with herb-spiced Peruvian-inspired dishes and all-natural ingredients.

You will safely transport catering orders, load supplies, and interact professionally with customers to ensure a memorable catering experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Delivery, catering or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport catering orders to various locations, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Load and unload catering supplies and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery and address concerns.
• Follow delivery routes and time schedules efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and report issues promptly.
• Assist with setup or breakdown of catering displays when required.

The Catering Driver role varies day to day. You may be responsible for any of the following duties on any certain day.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport catering orders to various locations, ensuring food arrives intact and on time.
• Load and unload catering supplies, including food trays, beverages, and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery and resolve any concerns promptly.
• Follow delivery routes and time schedules efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to preserve food quality and safety during transportation.
• Assist with setup or breakdown of catering displays, as required.
• Report maintenance needs or incidents involving the delivery vehicle promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (e.g., up to 50 lbs).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in delivery, catering, or hospitality is a plus.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Dependability and a professional appearance.
