Job summary

Compass Group USA's Canteen is seeking a Catering Director to lead a premier catering program supporting two campus café locations. This role delivers executive-level events, partners with culinary and operations teams for flawless execution, and reports to the Food & Beverage Director. When catering activity is light, you will support daily café operations.

You will manage menus, client communications, and event logistics, while driving growth and maintaining high standards of guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete catering process from initial inquiry through event execution, invoicing, and billing.
• Consult with customers to develop menus, coordinate event logistics, and accommodate special requests and dietary needs.
• Partner with the Executive Chef and Chef Manager to ensure exceptional food quality and seamless event execution.
• Oversee catering setup, presentation, and service standards, with a focus on executive and C-suite events.
• Develop innovative catering menus and seasonal offerings to enhance the guest experience.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and personalized service.
• Support café operations as needed to ensure overall operational success.
