Job summary

Talentify is seeking staff to operate the catering department within a retail grocery setting in Massachusetts. The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, coordinating orders with the catering sales clerk, and ensuring timely deliveries and proper handling of goods.

Applicants must be 21+, possess a valid MA driver’s license, pass background and CORI checks where applicable, and read/write English proficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age (minimum)
• Massachusetts driver’s license required
• Driving record reviewed annually
• Subject to substance testing
• Background check
• CORI check in some locations
• Well groomed and customer oriented
• Capable of interacting with customers
• Ability to handle multiple orders and deliveries daily within a structured time frame
• Read and write English adequately
• Speak, understand and follow English instructions

Responsibilities

• Handle each customer sales transaction in a courteous, friendly manner with a sincere greeting
• Coordinate orders with catering sales clerk
• Maintain timely deliveries and communicate delivery times to catering sales clerk
• Ensure proper storage and shipping of orders to limit shrink and damage
• Provide on-location customer service and communication
• Notify management of customer complaints or product problems
• Keep delivery van neat, clean and organized
• Coordinate equipment cleaning and storage
• Maintain gas/service records
• Follow proper hand washing, food storage and handling procedures
• Maintain neat personal appearance and proper uniform
