Stew Leonard's is looking for a Catering Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, hourly role. You will promote catering services by guiding customers through menu selections and event details, both in-store and over the phone.

Responsibilities include documenting orders, assisting with food quantities, maintaining current menus, and supporting kitchen and delivery operations while upholding health and safety standards. Weekend/holiday availability and strong communication are essential.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend and holidays availability is required.
• At least one year experience with product knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and in-house catering software.

Catering Coordinator

Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $18 to $22 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

The Catering Coordinator works to promote the growth of Stew Leonard's catering services by connecting with current and potential customers. To bring a customer’s vision to life, the Catering Coordinator provides knowledge and guidance related to food selections in a prompt and courteous manner.

Your day-to-day:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Stew Leonard’s catering menu, including holiday menus
• Speak directly with customers, in store and on the phone, and accurately document the requirements of the customer’s order
• Assist customer and guide them with food and quantity selections based on event size and details
• Return customer phone calls, when necessary
• Ensure each sales department is prepared to execute order requirements by circulating order details
• Ensure menus are up to date and available in store
• Solicit services with local businesses
• Ensure pricing is accurate
• Assist chef and culinary staff in order preparation
• Help with the success of holiday catering
• Work in the Kitchen during downtime
• Deliver catering orders, when necessary
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Being able to work weekends and holidays is a must
• At least one year experience with product knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Good computer skills and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and in house catering program
• Good organizational skills
• The ability to multi-task
