Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica is seeking a qualified candidate for a Conference Services and Catering support role. You will assist Catering Managers, respond to client inquiries, and manage event documentation and files.

The position involves creating and updating Banquet Event Orders, coordinating details with managers and clients, and ensuring accurate event information for smooth execution.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Catering & Events, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Actively support the Conference Services and Catering Managers.
• Prompt response to client inquiries
• Comprehensive management of Opera S&C
• Handle client books and include all required information for file creation and applicable maintenance
• Create, complete and update Banquet Event Orders, work with Managers and Clients for event details

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Sales and Catering department is a plus
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Result oriented and highly motivated
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
