CRG Event Center in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Cook/Catering Prep to support back-of-house operations in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, ensure freshness, and uphold food safety standards while collaborating with kitchen staff.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for professional development and growth within Cunningham Restaurant Group’s CRG concept.

Formación

• Proven experience as a cook or line cook in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Food Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Cooking: Cook and plate dishes, monitor times and temperatures, adjust seasoning as needed.
• Menu Knowledge: Understand menu offerings and explain dishes to customers, stay updated on changes.
• Health and Safety: Follow health guidelines, monitor storage temperatures, report issues.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with inventory management and ingredient ordering.
