• We are hiring immediately for a full-time CATERING COOK position.
• Location: Snowflake - 135 Constitution Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary. More information upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior corporate kitchen experience required.
• Pay Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
• Additional Duties: Cooking, prepping, and preparing for catering and all catering events.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portions, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all food items.
• Uses established ticket procedures during service. Maintains records from work areas during service.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen after preparation and serving. Stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Commits to safety for yourself and others.
• Follows all company policies, including safety procedures like using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
