Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.
• Location: Cosmopolitan Catering - 1288 Reamwood Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 am to 11:30 am. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: 2 years of previous culinary experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment per procedures.
5. Store, label, and date all food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation, reports, and logs.
7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
8. Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short prep time.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
