Compass Group USA is seeking a part-time Catering Captain at the Fort Worth Zoo. The role coordinates catering staff schedules, prepares and serves food at functions, and may drive a truck for deliveries. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday with online applications only.

Requires prior catering event experience and proficient computer knowledge. Competitive pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour with eligible benefits and an employee referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous catering event experience is required.
• Must have proficient computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Determines workload requirements from catering orders.
• Meets with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements and changes.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils.
