Eurest in Lafayette, IN is hiring a Catering Captain for a full-time, on-site role at Subaru Auto. The position coordinates staff, prepares and serves food at functions, and may involve delivering to sites. Typical schedule is 4:00 AM–12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Experience of 5+ years in catering setup and service is preferred, with training available. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits and an internal referral bonus.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required. Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
• 5 years or more of experience setting up catering, preparing and serving food, and supporting staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered on time.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Assists with setup and breakdown of catering areas.
• Ensures proper presentation and serving temperatures per standards.
• Follows HACCP and maintains sanitation of equipment and areas.
