Compass Group USA is hiring a Catering Captain for a full-time role at Wichita Falls, TX. The position coordinates catering staff, serves food at scheduled events and may drive to deliver to locations. Schedule includes Monday–Sunday with hours varying.

Qualifications include prior catering and supervisory experience; a valid driver’s license may be required; food handler and/or alcohol server permits may be needed per state law. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior catering and supervisory experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering staff schedules and ensure timely service, setup, serving and cleanup.
• Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup and changes; address issues.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrate menu item knowledge and supervise staff on work expectations.
• Help staff set up rooms and deliver food and supplies to functions.
• Maintain food presentation, portions and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
