• We are hiring immediately for full-time CATERING CAPTAIN positions.
• Address: 1845 Fairmount Street, Wichita, KS 67260. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Must be able to work nights and weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: Prior bar, inventory, supervisory, and banquet experience preferred.

Job Summary

Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup. Prepares and serves food under supervision. May drive a truck for deliveries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Determine workload from orders.
• Meet with group leaders for setup and address last-minute changes.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints.
• Understand menu items.
• Instruct staff on work expectations.
• Assist with room setup.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Return equipment and supplies.
• Maintain presentation, portion control, and temperature standards.
• Ensure sanitation and orderliness.
• Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Obtain a food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required.
