• We are hiring immediately for full-time CATERING CAPTAIN positions.
• Address: 1845 Fairmount Street, Wichita, KS 67260 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Must be able to work nights and weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: Prior bar, inventory, supervisory, and banquet experience preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of functions. Prepares and serves food under supervision. May drive a truck for delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determine workload from catering orders.
• Meet with function leaders for setup and resolve last-minute issues.
• Interact with customers and handle complaints professionally.
• Understand menu items thoroughly.
• Instruct staff on work expectations.
• Assist in setting up rooms.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Return equipment and supplies.
• Maintain presentation, portion control, and temperature standards.
• Ensure sanitation and orderliness.
• Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain or possess a food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit as required by law.
